In August of 2005 photographer Jeff Wilson set out to catalog empty Texas high school football stadiums for Texas Monthly magazine. Now the photos have been collected and, introduced by Buzz Bissinger of "Friday Night Lights" fame, it’s a new coffee-table book from UT press. According to Wilson Wilson, "the promise of an empty football field is an irresistible force for those who understand and revere the game."
