Cool earth

A centuries old version of Paris (France, not Texas) lies beneath the city. The Wall Street Journal explores the Paris catacombs, which preserve the city’s 17th century layout – in addition to those macabre columns of human bones. (Strolling 65 feet underground sounds pretty appealing when you are above-ground in the Texas heat.)
