Austin’s 6th annual Fusebox Festival begins on April 21 with 40 or 400 artists all catalyzing interactions between live performance, visual art, installation, theater, dance and music at 10 or 14 Austin arts venues. Featuring Big Dance Theater, John Kelly, Luke Savisky, Greg Brooker, Theater Replacement, Rude Mechs, Daniel Barrow, Kristen Kosmas, Action Hero, Phil Soltanoff, Kaiji Moriyama, Frederick Gravel, Allison Orr, Graham Reynolds, Mike Smith, Wura Ogunji, Heloise Gold, Okay Mountain, and Rubber Rep, what it lacks in focus, it makes up for in multi-tracking, cutting-edge, forward-thinking, cross-pollinating and similar hyphenated virtues.
