From 4-5:30pm today, Wednesday, March 31, artists and curators will be frantically signing books in at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown Houston, 400 Dallas St. The MFAH bookstore and the Photo-Eye Bookstore of Santa Fe will be selling books by Katharina Mouratidi, MiMi Youn, Heather McClintock, and Shelly Calton, as well as fotofest founders Fred Baldwin and Wendy Watriss, not to mention the ubiquitous and indispensable Anne Tucker, the MFAH’s photo curator. The bookstores will be open late to coincide with Fotofest’s the Evening with the Artists events.
