New folk architecture in West U

The West University Examiner reports the re-emergence of the traditional post-Christmas tree forts in Houston’s West University neighborhood. Apparently "amassing and arranging the trees into elaborate evergreen structures is a tradition for area youths, who roam their neighborhood streets and drag materiel [sic] behind them on bikes, wagons and sometimes tied to a the hitch of a willing parent’s car."
