Los Angeles-based artist Jennifer Pastor will speak about her work before the opening of Dead Landscape, her exhibition of fight pictures at Houston’s Glassell School of Art. 6 pm in Glassell’s Freed Auditorium. Pastor will explain her explanation that "the selected groupings and installation are an exploration of the complex situational space of the fights, the spectacle of crowds, chaos, and the mediation of time-lapse and multiple view points on surrounding video screens, along with the strange pattern of relationships that evolved observing the situation of the drawings, lying and handled in the archives."
