Call me Ishmael. . .

Last week Seattle designer Koryn Rolstad installed Houston’s latest civic art at the Northeast Multi-Service Center, 9720 Spaulding St. Rolstad’s installation, Sheltering Growth, includes a brushed aluminum tree with vine-like branches and layers of cascading leaves. Above doors, 10 graphic panels depicting nature scenes and a Herman Melville quote chosen by the community.
