Local art history graduate student Coleen Barry gives a 30 minute talk titled Engaging Time: Michelangelo Pistoletto, Nicholas Nixon and Anselm Kiefer at the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum tomorrow, as part of their Graduate Student Lectureship Program. Barry, originally from Houston, is no slouch: as an undergraduate she attended Baylor on a National Merit Scholarship and was on the Dean’s Academic Honor Roll every semester with a 3.93 grade-point average! Saturday, October 17 at 1 pm. It’s a warm-up for her warm-up talk before Tony Scherman on Oct. 27. Free with museum admission.
