Getting on Your Head in Public Art

Saturday, The City of Austin’s Art in Public Places Program presents a long talk with environmental artist Ned Kahn at the Thompson Conference Center, on the UT campus, Austin. Titled "Public Art on its Head," the day-long event promises insider tips on getting noticed, and one-hour sessions on creating successful proposals and enduring community critique (Hey! it’s a giant sausage!). Saturday, September 12, from 9am-5pm. Just $10 gets you info, networking ops, parking, and lunch.
