Houston Center for Photography has announced its new interim director, Ms. Bevin Bering, artist and Gallery Director of Houston’s Bering & James Gallery. Bering also owns and operates Bevin Bering Photography, where she created exhibitions and managed large-scale installation projects for Houston businesses including Minute Maid Corporation and Methodist Hospital. Bering is a 6th generation Houstonian who has a long history of service in the non-profit sector; she is currently serving on boards and committees at Trees for Houston, Tri Delta Art Show for Charity, and the Menil Collection. Outgoing Executive Director & Curator Madeline Yale will become an HCP Adjunct Curator before her planned move overseas.
