Despite vicious media attacks, topheavy administation and a recent audit, The Houston Arts Alliance has had its contract with the city renewed; HAA will be in charge of doling out this year’s estimated $12 million in hotel occupancy tax money via arts grants, and "performing valuable services, supporting, enabling, and advancing the arts sector for the city."
