Highway, a two-ton recycled steel sculpture from artist James Hetherington‘s "American Backbone Series", will be permanently installed at the entrance to Primrose at Monticello Park Senior Apartments San Antonio, in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, May 2.  “The compressed bales of rods and other metals represent the diverse peoples interwoven into the complex fabric that is America,” said Hetherington. Bihl Haus Arts, a non-profit gallery on the premises of the senior affordable housing complex , will accept the permanent sculpture on behalf of the gallery and the residents of Primrose. 2803 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio, 2:30 pm.
