The second event in Julie Thornton’s new Testpeformancetest series will be a musical performance by Maxi Geil! & PlayColt, who blur the boundaries between art and rock with "a heady mix of glam styling and funky riffs." Fronted by Guy Richard Smit, a visual and performance artist who, “writes satirical operas centered around the self-esteem struggles of an insecure porn star." The performance will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 9 pm at Victory Grill (1104 E 11th St, austin). You gotta love those art patrons: admission is FREE. It’s also Pecha Kucha Night #5 at ACL Studios.
