CKCStART street and urban arts and Spacetaker are hosting a free graffiti drawing workshop for urban artists aged 13-17 at the Spacetaker Artist Recource Center inside Houston’s Winter Street Studios on Saturday, April 11, 2-5 pm. Led by Aerosol Warare Gallery’s Gonzo247, the intro-level drawing workshop, normally $175, will cover urban letter styles, composition and will highlight local graffiti history. Carolyn Casey’s (CKC) CKC stARTis a Houston-based organization that promotes street art as a positive and creative force in the community by maintaining a resource center, hosting workshops, and a placement service for urban artists.
