Claudia Schmuckli will be the new director of the University of Houston’s Blaffer Gallery, replacing Terrie Sultan. After a nine month search, Schmuckli, now acting chief curator, will be promoted. David Vollmer, Blaffer’s interim director will resume his former position as deputy director.
