If at first you don’t succeed

Inman Gallery and its neighbor, CTRL Gallery, have rescheduled their Friday opening receptions for Wednesday, September 24th from 6 – 8pm.

Blaffer Gallery, the Art Museum of the University of Houston has cancelled the opening receptions for the fall exhibitions that was scheduled for Sept. 12, 6 – 8 p.m. and a discussion and book-signing that was scheduled for Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. In place of the opening reception, Blaffer Gallery invites the public to take a first peak at the fall exhibitions during the Red Block Bash on Sept. 18.

The MFAH’s Friday and Saturday afternoon lectures scheduled for September 12 and 13 have been rescheduled: Impressionists in the Forest of Fontainebleau, presented by Dr. Helga K. Aurisch, is rescheduled for Saturday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. and Friday, October 17 at 1:30 p.m.

Colquitt openings have been rescheduled for Saturday, October 11!! All shows are on view until then.

The Houston Center for Photography‘s opening for Sage Sohier’s Perfectible Worlds, Mike Osborne’s On Location Beijing, and HCP’s Teacher & Student Exhibition Learning Curve 2 has been postponed to next Friday, September 19, 6-8pm.
