Pecha Kucha, a cultish wave of accelerated slide lectures has taken root in Texas. Last Thursday, artists, musicians and others each showed 20 slides for 20 seconds each to form six-minute presentations at Diana Moya‘s Frisco Arts Center Gallery. Danny Mendoza writing on KERA’s blog, was there. Wannabe presenters: the next incarnation of Pecha Kucha will be on July 12th event at The Bone in Deep Ellum, 7pm.
