Houston Arts Alliance is still looking for artists to submit their qualifications to create site-specific public art for the Acres Homes & 5th Ward communities. HAA has extended the deadline to June 10, 2008 in its search for projects that "reflect and re-examine the neighborhoods from a historical or cultural perspective." A $5,000 concept proposal will be given to two semi-finalists per neighborhood and the overall project will have a minimum budget of $40,000.Community arts projects
