J. Pittman McGehee, Jungian analyst and director of the Institute for the Advancement of Psychology and Spirituality, will lead a discussion of the works featured in The Old, Weird America at Houston’s Contemporary Art Museum on Saturday, June 7 at 2 pm.  Ordained as a priest in the Episcopal Church in 1969, he was the Dean of Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Houston, teaches Analytical Psychology at UH, and is a poet to boot.

The Pitt, as we affectionately called him, used to give great sermon. I still remember one from when I was in high school about how you should use the pretty guest towels in other people’s bathrooms. This should be an interesting talk.
