Veteran public art administrator Helen Lessick has been named the Houston Arts Alliance’s new director of Civic Art & Design. An arts activist, curator, administrator and artist, Lessick has managing projects in Seattle and Ventura, CA, and Los Angeles. “Her resume speaks for itself,” said HAA CEO Jonathon Glus, “The breadth and depth of her knowledge is exactly what Houston needs as we grow the City’s civic art and design program."
