This evening, Friday, March 28, is the second, or possibly the 4th, or 5th (press releases vary), but certainly not the first "Pretend You Are Rich" art auction at Austin’s Pump Project Art Complex. Works by local artists including Tim Brown, William Hundley, Doug Weber, Gerardo Arellano, and Cantanker’s Debra Broz will be auctioned off for staggering prices, which will be offset by an instant $3000 rebate for the winning bidder. Arthur Simone will portray the Fabulous Mr. Auction. Blueblood/ghetto fabulous/international playboy/Texas oilman/sheik/Hollywood attire encouraged. 6-11 pm.
