Jack Lane has announced his retirement from the DMA!!! They've already decided that deputy director Bonnie Pitman will be the next director when Lane steps down a year from now. Here's more info in the Dallas Morning News. Lane completed some concrete goals at the museum, including increasing endowment and attendence and securing the gift of major local contemporary art collections, as witnessed in the recent Fast Forward show.
