Fans of Texas antiques will want to attend the rather highfalutingly-named symposium, American Material Culture and the Texas Experience, this Friday-Sunday, Feb. 9-11 at Bayou Bend in Houston. Talks will address Ima Hogg, Edgefield Pottery, furniture in the German settlements and Spanish Colonial stuff.
