Lubbock’s Texas Tech University is hosting a Texas Sculpture Symposium this November 5-7. Modelled after the Texas Sculpture Symposia of the 1980s, this one features a keynote address by Frances Whitehead of the Art School of the Institute of Chicago, with participation by Texans Stephen Daly, Ken Little, Katy Heinlein, George Lorio, Cakky Brawley, Frances Colpitt, Patricia B. Meadows, Terrie Sultan, and the inimitable James Surls! Should be good stuff.
